My idea we can do the nationality team league

Each first sunday in month at 12.00 o clock (GMT+1) we can play team matches

20 minute plus 20 sek for one game na stronach kurnik.org

So 4 people from each country
on the first board the player with the best ranking from one country would be plyaed with the player with the best ranking form second country

1 Polisch player - Russia player
2 Polisch player - Russia player
3 Polisch player - Russia player
4 Polisch player - Russia player

After matches I can do some table with resultats

A good idea:) I will ask the Hungarian players, but it will be rather hard to gather 4 ppl on Sunday:( /I won't be able to play because of shogidojo:( maybe in March.../ I will send you a pm on kurnik if we have enough participants;)

I believe that it is a good idea. Why good? Because it can shake up and work out new line of activity for shogi community.

To my mind we have the only question - how to organize this competition more efficiently.

At first, it is necessary to determine captain (and his deputy) in every country team. Captain will decide all organizational matters with players of his country. Team captain should determine the list of the team and control the results of games.

It is also important to have a coordinator of the project. Kurnik is polish webserver and idea to make this project is polish one. That's why i believe that coordinator of project would be from Poland.

Time limit. I think it is also necessary to discuss among players from different countries. May be time limit 20 min +20 sec is not comfortable for players. As variant it is possible to make a poll.

To my opinion games of team match can be played in different time. For instance, one game of eam match can be played at 12.00, second game - at 13.00, third games - at 13.15. But it will be schedule of games with exact time of the games start.

It is necessary to determine minimum quantity of players in team. If it is possible to find only 3 players for match it is not a problem. Final calculation of points can be organized be percent of wins.

So I hope that in February I set up some rules and in March we started play. I propose to discuss the most important rules:

1. Time of meeting

Timeto play: becouse will play people from Russia from Japan and from USA and Europa

GMT +1 4.00

USA 19-22.00
Europe 3-4.00
Russia 6-8.00
Japan 14.00

GMT +1 12.00

USA 3-6.00
Europe 11-12.00
Russia 14-16.00
Japan 20.00

GMT +1 19.00

USA 10-13.00
Europe 18-19.00
Russia 19-21.00
Japan 4.00

So normally Europe play with europe and with Russia and Japan at 12.00 GMT +1
Europe and Russia play with USA at 19 GMT +1
USA play with Japan at 4 GMT + 1

2 Game

I thought about: only one game in one month.
I thought about each first sunday in month but people said that better will be saturday. So I think taht better will be each second saturday in month.

3 Time

Time to play maybe it should be a litlle short than 20+20 maybe 10+10 people on kurnik are customed to this time.

4 Capitan

In each team will be capitan
he will be responsibility to:
4.1 inform and remember his team partners about match
4.2 send the resultat on my email
4.3 speaking with capitan another team about some ideas and problems
4.4 If 2 teams said that the time of meeting is not good. Capitans of 2 teams should set up a time to play and send it on my email
4.5 Capitan should speak in englisch
4.6 If capitan can not play he should do a deputy inform him about responsibility and send me deputy name on email

5 Resultats and Scores
It will be 2 system of ranking

First in % of wining game
Second in point

For wining game 3 Big points for draw 1 point for lose 0 point
and small points depend how much games win the team

6 People

In each team should be 4 people.
Minimal people 2 Maximal 6
I try to explain this on example

Match Poland Japan If will be only 2 people from Japan and 5 people from Poland and if on the 1 and 2 board win people from Japan that means that Japan win so they ger 3 Big Points and 2 small points Poland get 0 Big points and 2 small points

Match Germany and Swedden If will be 5 people from Germany and 6 People from Sweden They should play 5 matches If on the 1 and 2 board win people from Germany but on the 3 4 and 5 board win people from Sweden. Sweden get 3 Big point 3 small point Germany 0 Big 2 Small

Match USA Russia If it will be only one people in Russia and 6 People in USA match can not be played. Russia 0 Big and Small point USA 3 Big point 4 small point

Match Belarus Hungary If in Belarus will be 7 people and in Hungary will be 7 people. Can play only 6 with the best kurnik's ranking people if on 1,2,3,4,5,6 board will be draw Belarus get 1 Big and 3 small Point, Hungaty get 6 Big and 3 small point

Match France -- nobady
France get 3 big point and 4 small point

So on my site I do some table and results.
