Hi I did not have too much tiem for analysing your comments but the 59 move it was really the end. I think this horse on 4e is too strong.

After 20 moves, player2 has a weak defence, and he wants to attack in line 9, which is far from the opponents king, so it seems that player1 stands clearly better after 20 moves.
Move 24, if player2 played Sx3c, his defence would have been better.
Move 26, if player2 had a strong defence he could play P8f Px7e Px8g+, and he would get a strong attack on that side of the board, but with the weak defence, it is dangerous to give the opponent a silver, so it is actually better to move the silver back to 8d.
Move 42, player1 should put a piece on 3g to stop the bishop from reaching 1i. After Bx1i+, player2 has a very strong attack.
Move 44, player1 can take the pawn. If player2 takes the lance with the bishop, player1 can put a piece on 3g to stop the attack, and it doesn't matter so much if he loses a lance.
In move 59, if player1 plays K4i player2 can play N5g= Gx5g G5i.

Move 2 player 1 it is better than beat on 2b becouse of lose tempo(speed)
Move 13 player 1 it is the end of the beginner (the end of the oppening game)
Move 15 player 2 praobably next move should be p7e
Move 21 player 2 rather not so god he forbet about bishop's player 1
Move 23 player 2 I think better was G2d
Move 30 player 2 it is good taht rook do not beat this becouse of L9g and player 2 lose rook
Move 41 player 1 better was play pawn on 6c it could upgrade attack and position wich is now good.
Move 42 player 1 next error better was playe L6e or N3g this sitaution is better and more safetly. N3e is with possibility attack on 2e
Serries of error by player 1 probably for not so much time.
Move 59 it is the last error in this game better was off course Ki4 and than G4h
This game show that in 40 move when the player 1 have better position and more figures on the board is not win... In shogi you can win if you are the attacking and if you have initiative. But you must remember that after attack wich is not so good you must known that you opponent can do contrattack (I think that contrattack is better than attack;))
